(a) Within thirty (30) days after a person has been confined or
committed to his control and jurisdiction, submit a completed finger-
print card, if taken, to the State Central Crime Records Bureau.
(4) The Superintendent shall render to contributing agencies as
defined in Section 1—(2), all reasonable information and assistance
from the said records to assist in the identification and apprehension
of criminals and publish on an annual basis a summary report of all
fingerprints received and offenses reported as provided in these sec-
tions, such report to include a summary of all identifying or other
statistical data which the Superintendent may prescribe; provided,
however, that such summary report shall be so compiled as not to
use the names of any individuals arrested for crime or confined
as a result thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 620
(House Bill 516)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 49(a) of
Article 96½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement
Volume), title "Veterans," subtitle "War Orphans," and to be
under a new subtitle "War Orphans and Children of Disabled
Veterans," to provide for the inclusion of children of disabled
veterans under the provisions of the aid to education section.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
The Section 49 (a) of Article 96½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume), title "Veterans," subtitle "War Or-
phans," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to be under a new subtitle "War Orphans and Children of
Disabled Veterans," and to read as follows:
49.
(a) Any child between the ages of sixteen and twenty-three, or
between the ages of sixteen and twenty-seven if the said child has
served in the military service of the United States, inclusive, of any
person who served in the armed forces of the United States and who
was killed in action or who died or who was totally and permanently
disabled as a result of such service after December 7, 1941, if such
person was a resident of this State at the time of his induction shall
receive, upon application therefor to the State Board of Education,
State aid for tuition, matriculation fees, board, room rent, books and
supplies for such child attending any of the following-named insti-
tutions approved by said Board: An educational or training insti-
tution of college grade or any other institution of higher learning or
commercial training, a teachers college, a vocational school or any
accredited military preparatory school if such beneficiary is prepar-
ing to enter the United States Military Academy at West Point, the
United States Naval Academy at Annapolis or a United States Coast
