County Commissioners of Prince George's County. In such event,
the Board may make an appropriation to provide for the publication
and it may provide for the sale and distribution of this pocket supple-
ment.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 618
(House Bill 953)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of
Talbot County to borrow an amount not to exceed $125,000.00
for the purpose of erecting, in concert with the Mayor and Council
of Easton, a factory or plant, with offices related thereto, FOR AN
INDUSTRIAL OR COMMERCIAL PLANT OR PLANTS on the
Airport Farm at Easton, Maryland, owned jointly by the County
Commissioners of Talbot County and the Town of Easton, for rental
to Durolith Corporation, a Maryland corporation, for the purpose
of encouraging the increase) of industry in Talbot County; to effect

such borrowing by the issuance and sale to the highest bidder, at

public sale, of its general obligation bond in like par amount, to be
entitled "General Obligation Bond of 1966, Dated April 15, 1966,"
to bear interest at the rate of 3½ per
centum per annum, and to be
repaid in two hundred and seventy-six (276) consecutive monthly
installments of principal and interest; prescribing the
method and
manner of selling said bond at public sale; empowering said County
to anticipate the payment of said bond, in whole or in
part, at any
interest date; empowering said County to apply to the payment of
principal and interest of said bond any funds received from Duro-

lith Corporation under the terms of the lease of said factory or

plant; empowering said County to levy, impose and collect annually
ad valorem taxes to provide funds sufficient for the payment of

said bond, in accordance with its tenor, in the event of default

in the payment of rentals; and exempting said bond and interest
thereon from all state, county and municipal taxes in the
State of
Maryland SUCH BORROWING TO BE BY THE ISSUE OF A
PROMISSORY NOTE AND THIS ACT RELATING GENER-
ALLY TO THE ISSUE OF SUCH NOTE, THE USE OF THE
FUNDS THEREFROM, THE REPAYMENT OF PRINCIPAL
AND INTEREST THEREON AND THE POWERS AND DU-
TIES OF THE COUNTY WITH RELATION THERETO.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the County Commissioners of Talbot County, a municipal corpo-

ration, is hereby authorized and empowered to finance the construc-

tion, to the extent of one-half the costs thereof (in concert with the

Mayor and Council of Easton, Maryland), and land known as the

Airport Farm, near Easton, Maryland, owned jointly by the said

County and the Mayor and Council of Easton, Maryland, a factory

or plant together with related offices for the use and occupancy

of the Durolith Corporation, a Maryland corporation, under a
