mittee for the Development and Utilization of Human Resources,
subject to approval of the County Commissioners, to function and
administer funds pursuant to the federal Economic Opportunity Act
of 1964 (Poverty Program).

(b) The County Commissioners are authorized to provide the
necessary financing for the office and management of the affairs of
the Committee for the Development and Utilization of Human Re-
sources. They are further authorized to provide funds for the pro-
grams adopted by the said Committee. The dispensing of funds
pursuant to appropriate legislation with State and Federal agencies
shall be arranged with the County Commissioners of Calvert County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That new Section 60A be and
it is hereby added to the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles
County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", to follow immediately after Section 60 thereof, and to
read as follows:

60A.

(a)  The State Senator of Charles County shall appoint a Com-
mittee for the Development and Utilization of Human Resources,
subject to approval of the County Commissioners, to function and
administer funds pursuant to the federal Economic Opportunity Act
of 1964 (Poverty Program).

(b)   The County Commissioners are authorized to provide the
necessary financing for the office and management of the affairs of
the Committee for the Development and Utilization of Human
Resources. They are further authorized to provide funds for the
programs adopted by the said Committee. The dispensing of funds
pursuant to appropriate legislation with State and Federal agencies
shall be arranged with the County Commissioners of Charles County.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That new Section 58B be and it
is hereby added to Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", to follow immediately after Section 58A
thereof, as added by Chapter 533 of the Acts of 1963, and to read
as follows:

58B.

(a)   The State Senator of St. Mary's County shall appoint a Com-
mittee for the Development and Utilization of Human Resources,
subject to approval of the County Commissioners, to function and
administer funds pursuant to the federal Economic Opportunity Act
of 1964 (Poverty Program).

(b)  The County Commissioners are authorized to provide the
