(a) In Charles County the committing magistrates, each of whom
shall be paid an annual salary of $4,000.00, shall be available at all
times to carry out their duties which shall mean that at least one
committing magistrate shall be available for the twenty-four hour
period of each day. The committing magistrates shall at all times
exercise their duties under the supervision of the trial magistrate
of the county.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 155 (v)
and 159 (h) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages",
sub-titles, respectively, "Boards of License Commissioners" and
"County Liquor Control Boards and Dispensaries", amending the
laws concerning the compensation of members of the Board of
License Commissioners and the County Liquor Control Board
in Wicomico County,; AND CORRECTING AN ERROR IN
SECTION 159 (H) THEREOF.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 155 (v) and 159 (h) of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), title "Alco-
holic Beverages", sub-titles, respectively, "Boards of License Com-
missioners" and "County Liquor Control Boards and Dispensaries",
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
155.
(v) In Wicomico County, the chairman of the board of license
commissioners shall receive as compensation, the sum of [one
thousand dollars ($1,000.00)] one thousand two hundred dollars
($1,200.00) per year. Each of the other two members shall receive as
compensation, the sum of [seven] nine hundred dollars [($700.00)]
($900.00) per year.
159.
(h) (1) (H) MEMBERS OF THE SEVERAL BOARDS SHALL
RECEIVE COMPENSATION AS FOLLOWS:
(1) Caroline County—Five hundred dollars per annum.
(2) Harford County—Twelve hundred dollars per annum, pro-
vided that an additional compensation shall be paid board members
for administrative services.
