AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3 (o) of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supple-
ment), title "Elections", sub-title "Supervisors of Elections and
Employees", increasing the salaries of the chairman and members
of the Board of Election Supervisors in Howard County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 3 (o) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title "Supervisors of
Elections and Employees", be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(o) Howard County: Chairman, [$700.] $900.; associate mem-
bers, [$600.] $800. each.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to add new Sections 29(c) and 110(c) to Article 52 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume), title
"Justices of the Peace" sub-titles "Docket" and "Trial Magis-
trates System", respectively, to follow immediately after Sections
29(b) and 110(b) thereof, respectively; and to repeal and re-enact,
with amendments, Sections 108(21) and 119(a) of said Article of
the Code, sub-title "Trial Magistrates System", to amend certain
provisions of the trial magistrates system in Washington County
as follows: (1) to provide that the trial magistrates' records and
dockets be kept on a continuing and uninterrupted basis; (2) to
abolish the substitute magistrates system in Washington County;
(3) to increase the salary of the committing magistrates for Wash-
ington County and (4) to increase the minimum salary of the trial
magistrates for Hagerstown.
