CHAPTER 82
(Senate Bill 139)
AN ACT to repeal Section 142 OF ARTICLE 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's
County", sub-title "Orphans' Court", repealing an obsolete local
law of St. Mary's County concerning compensation of judges of
the Orphans' Court.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 142 OF ARTICLE 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title
"Orphans' Court", be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(Senate Bill 141)
AN ACT to repeal Section 77A of Article 19 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County",
sub-title "Fire Companies", as said section was last amended by
Chapter 466 of the Acts of 1937, repealing an obsolete local law of
St. Mary's County concerning the levy and appropriation of money
for the maintenance and support of certain volunteer fire companies.
Whereas, Section 77A in the local laws of St. Mary's County, as
last amended by Chapter 466 of 1937, and relating to the maintenance
and support of certain volunteer fire companies in the County, is
obsolete and unnecessary, having been replaced by later legislation
enacted in 1962 and in 1963; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 77A of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title "Fire
Companies", as said section was last amended by Chapter 466 of the
Acts of 1937, be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
