AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 139 of
Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supplement),
title "County Commissioners", sub-title "Public Roads", providing
that the County Commissioners of Garrett County may, if it
becomes necessary for the purpose of building a new road or of
improving or widening an existing road or the drainage thereof,
acquire the land by condemnation.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 139 of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Supplement), title "County Commissioners", sub-title "Public
Roads", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
139.
Whenever for the purpose of building a new road, improving or
widening any existing roads and drainage thereof, it shall become
necessary to condemn any land or any interest in, under or over
the same, it shall be lawful for the county commissioners of Wash-
ington County, Garrett County and of Allegany County to acquire
by condemnation said land by following the procedures set out in
Article 33A of this Code.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 521 (b)
of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supple-
ment), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "I. Crimes and
Punishments", sub-heading "Sabbath Breaking", to add house-
hold pet food to those items which can be sold on Sunday in Anne
Arundel County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

(1964 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "I.
Crimes and Punishments", sub-heading "Sabbath Breaking", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
