and deliver on Sunday the following articles of merchandise: butter,
eggs, cream, soap and other detergents, disinfectants, vegetables,
meats, and all other food or foodstuffs prepared or intended for hu-
man or household pet consumption, automobile accessories and parts,
boating and fishing accessories, artificial and natural flowers and
shrubs, toilet goods, hospital supplies, thermometers, camera films,
souvenirs, surgical instruments, rubber goods, paper goods, drugs,
medicines, patent medicines, and all other articles used for the relief
of pain or prescribed by a physician; provided, however, that nothing
in this sub-title shall be construed to prevent the operation of any
retail establishment on Sunday, the operation of which does not
entail the employment of more than one person, not including the
owner or proprietor. Every market or department store in which
stalls or departments are rented or concessions given to individual
merchants or vendors shall be considered as one establishment and
each stall or department thereof is not a separate establishment.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 50 of
Article 96 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement
Volume), title "United States", sub-title "Agreements on Works
of Improvement", to authorize political subdivisions of the State
to enter into agreements with public drainage and watershed
associations and other groups for the purpose of constructing,
financing, and operating public works and improvements.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 50 of Article 96 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume), title "United States", sub-title "Agree-
ments on Works of Improvement", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
50.
Any county or Baltimore City, or any municipality of the State
of Maryland, in addition to the powers which it may now have,
is hereby authorized to enter into any agreements or contracts with
the United States or any agency thereof, Public Drainage Association,
Public Watershed Associations and other groups or agencies in con-
structing, erecting, financing, maintaining, using or operating any
works of improvement.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
