reappointment. In the case of any vacancies the Governor shall
appoint a successor to the unexpired term.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 511
(Senate Bill 388)

AN ACT to add a new sub-section (1) to Section 300 of Article 77
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Sup-
plement), title "Public Education", sub-title "Chapter 31. Com-
munity Colleges", to follow immediately after sub-section 300 (k)
of said section and Article; to empower the board of trustees of
a community college to permit the use of its land, buildings, and
other facilities in connection with any program of secondary or
vocational education administered by the board of education of
the county or Baltimore City.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new sub-section (1) be and it is hereby added to Section 300
of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1964 Supplement), title "Public Education", sub-title "Chapter 31.
Community Colleges", to follow immediately after sub-section 300
(k) of said section and Article, and to read as follows:

(l) To permit the board of education of the county or Baltimore
City, as the case may be, to utilize the lands, buildings, and any
other facilities of the community college in connection with any
program of secondary or vocational education administered by said
board of education, subject, however, to the prior approval of the
State Superintendent of Schools.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to add new Sections 577 (c) and 579 (a-1) to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1963 Edition, being Article
1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Allegany

after Sections 577 (b) and 579 (a) thereof, authorizing the
