Potomac Park Addition community and to provide by contract or
otherwise for these several community projects and services.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 577 (c) and 579 (a-1) be and they are hereby
added to the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1963
Edition, being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land), title "Allegany County", sub-title "Potomac Park Addition",
to follow respectively after Sections 577 (b) and 579 (a) thereof, and
all to read as follows:
577.
(c) Any surplus monies held by the Citizens' Committee after
making provision for lights and for water for fire protection, from
whatever source derived, may be expended for contributions to vol-
untary fire departments providing fire protection to the Potomac
Park Addition community, constructing and maintaining community
playgrounds and other recreational and play areas, constructing and
enlarging additional facilities and equipment for the water supply
and distribution system, and providing other community projects and
services as needed or desired by the citizens of the Potomac Park
Addition community.

(a-1) The Citizens' Committee also may provide, by contract or
otherwise, for the several community projects and services listed in
Section 577 (c) of this sub-title.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(Senate Bill 405)
AN ACT to add a new Section 71A to Article 41 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Governor—Executive and
Administrative Departments", to follow immediately after Section
71 thereof, and to be under the new sub-title "Maryland Fish",
designating the striped bass or rockfish as the official fish of the
State of Maryland.
Whereas, The people of Maryland as long time and appreciative
residents of the productive Chesapeake Bay area know of it first
hand the recreational and gastronomic delights of this wonderful
land, and
Whereas, Not the least among the good reasons for living in
Maryland is the abundant and unexcelled delicacy of the Chesapeake
Bay striped bass or rockfish, and
Whereas, In the judgment of the members of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, it is a simple act of justice and of equity that
