CHAPTER 467
(Senate Bill 416)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 225 (b)
and (c) of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title "Youth
Commission", as added by Chapter 635 of the Acts of 1961; to
provide that the state's attorney and probation officer of St. Mary's
County shall be members of the St. Mary's County Youth Com-
mission.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 225 (b) and (c) of Article 19 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County",
sub-title "Youth Commission", as added by Chapter 635 of the Acts
of 1961, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

225.

(b)   The membership shall consist of [13] 15 persons, one of
whom the membership shall designate as chairman.

(c)   Designated members of the Youth Commission shall be: the
Superintendent of Schools for the county, the Director of the County
Welfare Board, the County Health Officer, the Commanding Officer,
Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland, the President of the
County Ministerial Association, the Dean of the Catholic Clergy of
the county, the ranking officer of the State Police Detachment, a
member of the Board of County Commissioners, the State's Attorney
for the county and the county Probation Officer.
The remaining five
members shall be selected by the designated members and shall be
citizens of the county, not employees of the Commission, who play
an active part in providing services for youth.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

Anne Arundel County.
