CHAPTER 419
(House Bill 705)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 210 (a)
of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Operation of Vehicles Upon
Highways," to prohibit a person from operating a vehicle upon
the highways of the State in any intentional improper manner
thereby abusing the privilege granted said person; and to provide
a penalty for any violation of said prohibition.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 210(a) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Opera-
tion of Vehicles upon Highways," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, and to read as follows:
210.
(a) No person shall operate or drive a vehicle, streetcar or
trackless trolley on the public highways of this State in a race or in
a speed contest, or on a bet or wager, or in any intentional improper
manner so as to cause skidding, spinning of wheels, OR excessive
noise or in any other way abuse the privilege granted said person to
operate a vehicle upon said highway.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall not apply to
any violation which occurred prior to June 1, 1965. Any such offense
or event shall be treated and considered as if this Act had not been
passed.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 4 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Elections," subtitle "Payment of Salaries and Expenses,"
providing for an appropriation for the purpose of reorganizing,
modernizing, and bringing up to date the voter registration files
in Prince George's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 4 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition), title "Elections," subtitle "Payment of Salaries and Ex-
penses," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
