subtitle, the hours during which sales of any alcoholic beverages
may be made under any class of license issued under this Article
ON ANY WEEKDAY are from 6 o'clock A.M. daily to 2 o'clock A.M.

on the following day, except on the closing hour on the Sunday fol-

lowing is 12 o'clock midnight. THAT ON SATURDAY THE CLOS-
ING HOUR SHALL BE 12 O'CLOCK MIDNIGHT. It is unlawful
for any person to sell or for any person to consume any alcoholic
beverages on any premises licensed under this Article between the
hours of 2 o'clock A.M. and 6 o'clock A.M. on any day of the week.

On Sunday no person shall sell and no person shall consume alcoholic
beverages at any time. OR AT ANY TIME ON SUNDAY.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 361
(House Bill 1120)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 405 (a)
and (b), 410 (b), 415, 417, 422, 423 and 424 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Harford County (1957 Edition, being Article 13
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford
County," subtitle "Metropolitan Commission," as last amended by
Chapter 706 of the Acts of 1963; and to add a new Section 406 (4)
to the said Code as so last amended; providing that the Director
of the Department of Public Works for Harford County shall
also serve as the Director of Sanitary Facilities of the Metropolitan
Commission and setting forth his duties; providing for the re-
quirement of fire hydrants outside of the bounds of incorporate
towns; and relating generally to the Metropolitan Commission of
Harford County and to the operation of the sanitary district within
Harford County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 405 (a) and (b), 410 (b), 415, 417, 422, 423 and 424
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County (1957 Edition,
being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Harford County," subtitle "Metropolitan Commission" as last
amended by Chapter 706 of the Acts of 1963 BE AND THE SAME
ARE HEREBY REPEALED AND RE-ENACTED WITH AMEND-
MENTS; and to add a new Section 406 (4) to the said Code as so
last amended, and to read as follows:

405.

(a) For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this sub-
title, the sanitary district created hereafter is under the jurisdiction
of a Commission of five persons, all of whom shall be appointed by
the County Commissioners of Harford County, and all of whom
shall reside in Harford County, be resident taxpayers of said County
and qualified voters thereof. The members of the Commission shall
