Harford, Howard and Washington counties in connection with any
arrest for the playing or operation of any lottery, game, table, or
gaming device unlawful under the provisions of this article, all such
money, currency or cash shall be deemed prima facie to be contraband
of law as a gambling device or as a part of a gambling operation. No
such money, currency or cash shall be returned to any person claim-
ing the same, or to any other person, except in the manner hereinafter
in this section provided.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(House Bill 1055)
AN ACT to add new Section 25A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Garrett County (1957 Edition, being Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Garrett County," subtitle
"Auctions," subheading "Itinerant Vendors," to follow im-
mediately after Section 25 thereof, creating a special license and
fee for itinerant vendors of GOODS, WARES, OR MERCHAN-
DISE foodstuffs and appliances coming into Garrett County by
truck to sell their products.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 25A be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Garrett County (1957 Edition, being Article
12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Garrett
County," subtitle "Auctions," subheading "Itinerant Vendors," to
follow immediately after Section 25 thereof, and to read as follows:
25A.
No itinerant huckster, hawker, peddler or vendor coming into
Garrett County by truck from some other county or state shall sell,
auction or otherwise offer for sale any food products or appliances
GOODS, WARES, OR MERCHANDISE until he shall have first pur-
chased a special license for that purpose; provided, however, that
this subtitle shall not apply to farmers or growers residing in Garrett
County selling their own vegetables or other perishable farm produce
or products, from a truck or otherwise. It shall be the duty of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of said county to issue itinerant peddler
licenses to such persons as may apply for same. Each applicant for
such license shall pay $250 for PER YEAR each visit into the county
and no license shall be issued by said clerk until the aforesaid license
fee has been paid.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
