from Eight Million ($8,000,000.00) Dollars to Ten Million
($10,000,000.00) Dollars annually the amount which may be trans-
ferred from the Construction Fund to the Motor Vehicle Revenue
Fund.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That subsection (f) of Section 32 of Article 89B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, 1964 Replacement Volume) title
"State Roads," subtitle "Distribution and Use of Special Funds," be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
32.
(f) In case of an emergency whereby the Motor Vehicle Revenue
Fund created by Section 341 of Article 66½ is insufficient to maintain
properly the State highway system, the State Roads Commission,
with the consent of the Governor and under the provisions of Sec-
tion 8 of Article 15A, may in any fiscal year, transfer from the Con-
struction Fund described in this section, to the Motor Vehicle
Revenue Fund, a sum not to exceed [eight million dollars
($8,000,000.00)] ten million dollars ($10,000,000.00), in such fiscal
year, such funds, when so transferred, to be used for the maintenance
and operation of the State highway system.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(House Bill 348)
AN ACT to repeal Section 211 (i) of Article 66½ of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle
"Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways," to repeal the provision
requiring commercial vehicles not designed for transportation of
passengers of a gross weight of 7,500 pounds or more shall travel
at a speed of 10 miles per hour less than the lawful speed permitted
other motor vehicles.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 211 (i) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Operation of
Vehicles Upon Highways," be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
