(f) The Comptroller of the treasury shall, before the first day of
October of each year, furnish the clerks of the circuit courts of
Dorchester, Talbot and Somerset counties, respectively, a sufficient
number of printed license blanks, each provided with space for re-
cording the name of the owner, the number of the boat and the
capacity of said boat [; and said Comptroller shall also furnish to
each clerk a piece of canvas bearing the number of the license painted
in red].
(g) The owner of any licensed dredge boat shall securely [fasten
the canvas number to his licensed boat on the port side of the main-
sail such number shall be worn in the upright position at all times
during the dredging season, and shall not be concealed or defaced]
attach and display the numbers on the boat as required by Section
702(d).
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of laws,
public general or public local, inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act are hereby repealed to the extent of any such inconsistency.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(House Bill 49)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 331 of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supple-
ment), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Fish and Fisheries,"
subheading "Crabs, Lobsters and Terrapins," amending the laws
concerning the method of taking crabs in this State in order to
correct an error in these laws as they relate to a portion of Anne
Arundel County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 331 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Fish and
Fisheries," subheading "Crabs, Lobsters and Terrapins," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as
follows :
331.
It shall be lawful for any person or persons to take or catch crabs
by scrape, dip net and trotline in any of the waters of the State and
in no other manner or by any other means, except that in Kent and
Queen Anne's counties soft crabs may be taken by means of hand-
drawn net scrape, and in Anne Arundel County except [with]
within the waters of the Severn River, hard or soft crabs may be
taken by means of crab seines not exceeding fifty feet in length and
provided the seines are hauled up in the water and not on shore; pro-
vided, however, that non-residents of the State of Maryland are
prohibited from taking or catching crabs by use of a trotline or
