The authority extended to the County Roads Board by [this sec-
tion] sections 491A to 491F, inclusive, shall be in addition to, but not
in substitution of, the powers heretofore vested in them for the im-
provement of roads in Caroline County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal Section 559 of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County",
sub-title "State's Attorney", repealing an obsolete and unnecessary
local law of Caroline County concerning generally the powers,
duties, compensation and expenses of that official.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 559 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County", sub-title "State's
Attorney", be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to legalize the 1965 edition of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Caroline County, being Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of the
Board of County Commissioners of Caroline County and edited
by Carl N. Everstine, and making provision for the publication,
sale and distribution of this Code.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1965 edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Caroline
County, being Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, published under the direction of the Board of County Com-
missioners of Caroline County and edited by Carl N. Everstine, is
legalized. The Code shall contain all public local laws relating to
Caroline County following the 1965 regular session of the General
Assembly of Maryland, and it shall contain the charters of the
several municipal corporations within Caroline County, as in effect
