one of their number to be President of the County Commissioners of
Allegany County, who shall preside at all meetings of said County
Commissioners. The County Commissioners shall meet at least twice
in each week in the office of the County Commissioners in the Court
House, Cumberland, Maryland. Each Commissioner shall receive as
full compensation for all of his services, the sum of [eighteen hun-
dred dollars] twenty-four hundred dollars ($2,400) per year and the
President of the County Commissioners shall receive the sum of
[two thousand dollars] two thousand six hundred dollars ($2,600)
per year, all of said salaries being payable semi-monthly.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of this Act
shall not be construed to extend or apply to the County Commissioners
in office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this
Act shall take effect with the next term of office.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal Section 271 of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County,"
subtitle "Goldsboro," as said section was amended by Chapter 25
of the Acts of the Special Session of 1948; to repeal Section 308
of said Article, subtitle "Greensboro," as said section was revised
by Chapter 217 of the Acts of 1947; to repeal Section 312HH of
said Article, subtitle "Henderson," as said section was revised by
Chapter 498 of the Acts of 1949; to repeal Section 332 of said
Article, subtitle "Hillsboro"; to repeal Section 420 of said Article,
subtitle "Marydel"; to repeal Section 41 of the Charter of the
Town of Ridgely in said Code, subtitle "Ridgely," as said section
was revised by Chapter 548 of the Acts of 1937; and to repeal
Section 17 of the Charter of the Town of Templeville in said Code
as said section was amended by Chapter 584 of the Acts of 1947,
repealing provisions in the municipal charters of Goldsboro, Greens-
boro, Henderson, Hillsboro, Marydel, Ridgely, and Templeville
which purport to require the County Commissioners of Caroline
County to make certain payments to these several municipal
corporations.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 271 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County," subtitle "Golds-
boro," as said section was amended by Chapter 25 of the Acts of
the Special Session of 1948; that Section 308 of said Article, subtitle
"Greensboro," as said section was revised by Chapter 217 of the Acts
of 1947; that .Section 312HH of said Article, subtitle "Henderson,"
as said section was revised by Chapter 498 of the Acts of 1949; that
