429.

All notices concerning the opening, altering, locating or widening
any public road, all reports of the school commissioners that are
required to be published, all lists of county expenses, and levies and
notices or other papers issuing from the county commissioners, re-
quired by law to be published, shall be published in [at least] two
newspapers [printed in the county.] of general circulation published
in said county.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 217
(House Bill 549)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6-1 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1957
Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Anne Arundel County," subtitle "Courts," sub-
heading "Number and Time of Terms," and to repeal and re-enact,
with amendments, Section 6-12 and 6-13 of said Code, same title
and subtitle; subheadings, respectively, "Selection of Panel and
Certification of List," and "Manner of selecting foreman of grand
jury, grand jury and two petit juries," to change the number and
meeting times of the terms of court, to substitute where pertinent
councilmanic districts for election districts and county council for
county commissioners, to add more names to the jury panel, to
increase the number of jury panels, and to change the number of
jurors now selected from each election district to a corresponding
percentage from the newly formed councilmanic districts.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6-1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County (1957 Edition, being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County," subtitle "Courts,"
subheading "Number and time of Terms," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, and that Sections 6-12 and 6-13
of said Code, same title and subtitle, subheadings, respectively, "Selec-
tion of Panel and Certification of List," and "Manner of selecting
foreman of grand jury, grand jury and two petit juries," be and
they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and all
to read as follows:

6-1.

There shall be [two] three regular common law terms of the cir-
cuit court for the county, at the City of Annapolis, commencing,
respectively, on the first Monday in January [on the third] the first
Monday in April and the [third] first Monday in October, in each
year.
