court in order to resolve any doubts about the intent and effect
of this law, and relating generally to certain obsolete laws relating
to the circuit court of Caroline County and to the clarification and
effect of laws of Caroline County concerning the clerk of the
circuit court.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 79-84, inclusive, of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County",
sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Speedy Judgment Act", be
and they are hereby repealed; and that Sections 85, 86 and 87
thereof, subheading "Clerk", be and they are hereby repealed; and
that Sections 88, 89, 91, 92 and 93 thereof, sub-heading "Law
Library", be and they are hereby repealed; and that Section 95
thereof, sub-heading "Court Stenographer", as said section was last
amended by Chapter 588 of the Acts of 1949, be and it is hereby
repealed; and that Section 87A thereof, sub-heading "Clerk", as said
section was last amended by Chapter 642 of the Acts of 1953, be and
it is hereby repealed, and that a new Section 87 A be and it is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section so
repealed, and to read as follows :

87A. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for TREASURER OF Caro-
line County shall record all certificates of tax sale and certificates of
redemption among the Land Records of said County when the land
is located in Caroline County. Said certificates shall be indexed in the
names of each and all the purchasers, owners, redeemers or assignees.
THE COST OF SUCH RECORDING SHALL BE ADVANCED BY
THE TREASURER AND CHARGED AS PART OF THE COSTS
OF REDEMPTION.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 17
(Senate Bill 77)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 39-53, inclusive, and to repeal Sections
65-71, inclusive, of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County", sub-title
"Bridges", said sections relating generally to the construction,
maintenance and use of certain bridges in and adjoining Caroline
County, relating to the powers and duties of certain County offi-
cials in relation thereto, and all of said sections being repealed as
obsolete.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 39-53, inclusive, and Sections 65-71, inclusive, of
Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Caroline County", sub-title "Bridges", be and they
are hereby repealed.
