(House Bill 1064)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 8 (d)
and 9 (c) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer Licenses";
and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 18 (f) and
19 (d) of the said Article of the said Code, subtitle "Beer, Wine
and Liquor Licenses"; and to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, Section 25 (c) of the said Article of the said Code (1964
Supplement), subtitle "Special and Temporary Licenses"; and to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 95 (b) of the said
Article of the said Code (1957 Edition), subtitle "Hours and
Days for Sale," to increase the fees for certain liquor licenses in
Calvert County and to change the hours and days of sale for
such licenses.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 8 (d) and 9 (c) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer
Licenses," be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments; and Sections 18 (f) and 19 (d) of the said Article
of the said Code, subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," be and
they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments; and
Section 25 (c) of the said Article of the said Code (1964 Supple-
ment), subtitle "Special and Temporary Licenses," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments; and Section 95
(b) of the said Article of the said Code (1957 Edition), subtitle
"Hours and Days for Sale," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, and all to read as follows:

(d) In Calvert County, the annual license fee for such license
shall be [fifty dollars ($50.00)] one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00).

(c)    In Calvert County the annual license fee for such a license
shall be [one hundred dollars ($100.00)] two hundred fifty dollars
($250.00).

(f) In Calvert County the license fee shall be [two hundred and
fifty dollars ($250.00)] five hundred dollars ($500.00) annually.

(d)    In Calvert County [such licenses may be issued in the towns
of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach, and] the annual license fee
for each such license shall be one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). [Such
licenses may be issued elsewhere within the limits of Calvert County,
and the annual license fee for each such license in another part of
the county shall be eight hundred dollars ($800.00).]
