by the said class of license for the use of any person holding a bona
fide entertainment conducted by a club, society, or association at the
place therein described for a period not exceeding seven consecutive
days, upon the payment of a fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per day;
provided that the provisions of Section 103 of this article shall not
apply to holders of this license and alcoholic beverages sold under
this special license shall be purchased by such special license holder
from retail dealers. In Baltimore County and Calvert County the
fee for such a license shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per day,
except that for any bona fide religious, fraternal, civic, war veterans',
hospital or charitable organization, the fee for such a license shall
be fifteen dollars ($15.00). This license shall not be issued in
Montgomery County.

(b) [In] Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in Calvert
County [outside of the limits of the towns of North Beach and
Chesapeake Beach, no] sales shall be permitted by a Class A, beer
licensee, Class A, beer, wine and liquor licensee, Class B, beer licensee
and
Class B, beer, wine and liquor licensee (including sales of pack-
age goods by same)
between the hours of [12 o'clock midnight on
Saturday and] 6 o'clock A.M. and 12 o'clock midnight of each day
including Sunday,
[the following Monday.] Sales shall be permitted
by a Class B, beer, wine and liquor licensee within the limits of the
towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach at all hours except
between the hours of 2 o'clock A.M. and 6 o'clock A.M. of each day.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965
IS HEREBY DECLARED TO BE AN EMERGENCY
MEASURE AND NECESSARY FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESER-
VATION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY AND
HAVING BEEN PASSED BY A YEA AND NAY VOTE SUP-
PORTED BY THREE-FIFTHS OF ALL MEMBERS ELECTED
OF THE TWO HOUSES OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, THE
SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF ITS
PASSAGE.

AN ACT to repeal Section 128 of Article 81 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle
"Franchise Tax on Deposits of Savings Banks," and to enact a
new Section 128 in lieu thereof to stand in the place of the section
so repealed and to be under the new subtitle "Franchise Tax on
Net Earnings of Savings Banks and Building, Saving and Loan
Associations"; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
6 of said Article (1964 Supplement), subtitle "Classification of
Taxes"; and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
197 (d) of said Article (1957 Edition), subtitle "Tax on Franchise
