1614 JOINT RESOLUTIONS
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the General
Assembly urges the Board of Public Works to initiate discussions
with the United States Navy Department to determine the status
and availability of the Patuxent Naval Air Station Annex property
in Calvert County for use by the State of Maryland; and be it further
Resolved, That the Board of Public Works is further urged to
initiate studies by the State leading to a determination of the best
usage of this property by the State; and be it further
Resolved, That copies of this resolution are sent to the Governor
of Maryland, the Comptroller of Maryland and the Treasurer of
; Maryland.

House Joint Resolution expressing deep appreciation to Baltimore
Baseball Club, Inc., for its kindness in sponsoring "General As-
sembly Night" during the 1964 baseball season.
The members of the General Assembly of Maryland are deeply ap-
preciative over the thoughtfulness and kindness of Baltimore Baseball
Club, Inc., in sponsoring during the 1964 baseball season a "General
Assembly Night."
The members of the State Legislature in Maryland are strongly
attached to the game of baseball in general and to the Baltimore
Orioles in particular. They very much enjoyed this game in the late
summer of 1964 as the guests of the Oriole management and extend
not only their warm thanks and appreciation for the kindness of the
Baltimore Baseball Club but also every good wish for the coming
season in 1965; now therefore, be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the sincere
thanks and appreciation of every member of the Legislature are sent
to Baltimore Baseball Club, Inc., for the kindness and generosity of
this group in having members of the General Assembly as guests at
"General Assembly Night" in 1964; and be it further
Resolved, That the Secretary of State of Maryland is requested to
send a copy of this Resolution under the Great Seal of the State of
Maryland to the management of Baltimore Baseball Club, Inc.
