CHAPTER 152
(House Bill 370)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 51 (c)
of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supple-
ment), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "County Treas-
urers," to increase the salary of the Calvert County Treasurer
and Calvert County Deputy Treasurer.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 51 (c) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Supplement), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "County
Treasurers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

51.

(c) The county treasurer of Calvert County shall receive an
annual salary of [$5,000.00] $6,000.00. He shall appoint one deputy
treasurer, who shall receive an annual salary of [$4,000,00]
$4,500.00; and he shall appoint one clerk-stenographer, who shall
receive such annual compensation as may be set by the County Com-
missioners from time to time.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of this
Act shall not be construed to extend or apply to the Treasurer or
Deputy Treasurer in office on the effective date of this Act, but the
provisions of this Act shall take effect with the next term of office.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 153
(House Bill 386)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6-1 of
Chapter 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick County
(1959 Edition, being Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Frederick County," subtitle "Part I. General
Local Laws," subheading "Chapter 6. Dogs," as last amended by
Chapter 175 of the Acts of 1939; to change the dog license expira-
tion date from July to January in Frederick County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6-1 of Chapter 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Frederick County (1959 Edition, being Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Frederick County," subtitle "Part I.
General Local Laws," subheading "Chapter 6. Dogs," as last amended
by Chapter 175 of the Acts of 1939, be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
