"Process and Practice," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
46.
(a) Where any person makes application to any Judge of a
People's Court or to any Trial Magistrate for the posting of a peace
bond, the trial magistrate or Judge of the People's Court shall not
require the posting of such bond, unless on preliminary hearing it
shall appear that there is a prima facie evidence of the need for
such bond.
(b) Peace bonds issued in Calvert, Charles, Prince George's or
St. Mary's County, which compose the Seventh Judicial Circuit of
the State of Maryland, by a Judge of the People's Court or Trial
Magistrate in or for a said county shall be effective for a period of
six months from the date of the issuance of said bond. At the
expiration of said six month term said peace bond shall become null
and void without further order of Court. The right of appeal to the
Circuit Court for the County in which the peace bond was issued
shall be applicable to peace bonds as to all other matters appealable
from said People's Court or Trial Magistrate.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to add new Section 264C to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1964 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments," subtitle "Crimes and Punishments," subheading "Slot
Machines," to follow immediately after Section 264B thereof to
authorize the transfer or removal of slot machines from one
location to another in any county in which they are legalized by
law, provided the total number of such machines permitted by
law is not increased as the result of a transfer or removal.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 264C be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supplement), title "Crimes
and Punishments," subtitle "Crimes and Punishments," subheading
"Slot Machines," to follow immediately after Section 264B thereof,
and to read as follows:
264C.
On any premises for which slot machines as defined in Section
264B of this Article are permitted to operate in accordance with any
existing public general or public local law, if for any reason such
