104                               LAWS OF MARYLAND                         [CH. 98

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 62 (b) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Elections," subtitle "Primary Elections,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

62.

(b) The day for holding primary elections for municipal offices
in Baltimore City shall be the Tuesday which is nine weeks or
sixty-three days prior to the Tuesday next after the first Monday
in [May] November
THURSDAY NEXT AFTER THE FIRST
MONDAY IN SEPTEMBER of the year in which the municipal
elections in the City of Baltimore are to be held.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 98
(Senate Bill 113)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 224 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County (1957 Edition),
being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Harford County", sub-title "Electrical Examiners", amend-
ing local laws of Harford County in order to correct an error
in the law defining and concerning the licensing of master
electricians.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 224 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford
County (1957 Edition), being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County", sub-title "Electrical
Examiners", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

224.

The term Master Electrician, as used in this sub-title, shall be
defined as and shall include any and all persons engaged in the
business of, or holding themselves out to the public as engaged in
the business of installing, erecting or repairing, or contracting to
install, erect or repair electric wires or conductors, to be used for
the transmission of electric current for electric light, heat or power
purposes, or mouldings, ducts, raceways or conduits for the recep-
tion or protection of such wires or conductors, or to any electrical
machinery, apparatus, device or fixture to be used for electric light,
heat, or power purposes. A license of "Master Electrician" issued in
accordance with the provisions of this sub-title shall entitle any
such person so licensed to [engaged] engage in the business of and
to hold himself out to the public as engaged in the business of
installing, erecting and repairing and of contracting to install, erect
