CHAPTER 26
(Senate Bill 8)

AN ACT to repeal Section 132 (1-1) of Article 66C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1963 Supplement), title "Natural Resources",
sub-title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-heading
"Upland and Migratory Game Birds and Game Animals", to repeal
a prohibition on the hunting of other game than deer during the
period when hunting of deer is lawful in Washington County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 132 (1-1) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1963 Supplement), title "Natural Resources", sub-title
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-heading "Upland and
Migratory Game Birds and Game Animals", be and it is hereby
repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby de-
clared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety and having been passed
by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

sub-heading "Court Stenographer"; this section being also Section
6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset County (1963
Edition), being Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Somerset County", sub-title "Circuit Court";
this section being also Section 12(a) of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Wicomico County (1959 Edition); being Article 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Court Stenographer"; and
this section being also Section 123 (a) of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Worcester County (1961 Edition), being Article 24 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Worcester County",
sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Court Stenographer", in-
creasing the compensation of the Court Stenographer in the coun-
ties of Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester.
