House Bill No. 17—By Delegate Abramson:

A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section 98 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Health," subtitle "Tuberculosis," amending the provisions of the
law concerning confinement of persons having communicable tuberculosis,
with particular respect to Baltimore City.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

House Bill No. 18—By Delegates Beall, Blair, Bresler and Miller:

A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal Sections 288(c-2), 289(f-3) and
289(f-4) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1963 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "Income Tax,"

as said sections were enacted by Chapter ........ (House Bill 30) of the

Regular Session of 1964, and to enact new Sections 288(c-2), 289(f-3)
and 289 (f-4) in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the sections so re-
pealed, amending the law which imposed an extra rate upon the State
income tax in order to change the rate of tax imposed, and relating gen-
erally to the imposition and collection of income taxes in this State.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

House Bill No. 19—By Delegate Bresler:

A Bill entitled: An Act to add new Section 134 (e) to Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1963 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Taxation," to follow immediately after
Section 134 (d) thereof and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section 136 (a) of the said Article and subtitle of the Code (1957 Edition),
to increase the tax on beer sold or distribution in the State and to provide
for destruction of a portion of the taxes levied on beer to the counties of
the State and Baltimore City.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

House Bill No. 20—By Delegates Harrison and Risley:

A Bill entitled: An Act to add new Sections 713(f), 714(f-1), 715A(h),
715B(g-l) and 715C(f-l) to Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition and 1963 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," sub-
title "Oysters and Clams," to follow immediately after Sections 713(e),
714(f), 715A(g), 715B(g) and 715C(f) thereof, Section 714 thereof having
been last amended by Chapter 694 of the Acts of 1963, to prohibit persons li-
censed to take or catch soft-shell clams in the State from taking or catch-
ing more than a certain quantity of such clams on a daily basis.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

House Bill No. 21—By Delegates Anderson, T., Blondes, Bresler, Cook,
E. P., Doing, Gore, McAuliffe, McInerney, Miller and Moore:

A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
