House Bill No. 7—By the Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries Committee:

A Bill entitled: An Act to add new Section 705A to Article 66C of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources,"
subtitle "Oysters and Clams," to follow immediately after Section 705
thereof, to require licensing of persons buying oysters from persons taking
or catching oysters and providing penalties for violations.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

House Bill No. 8—By Delegate Weidemeyer:

A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section 521 (b) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1963
Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Sabbath Break-
ing," changing the description of establishments which are prohibited
from making sales on Sunday in Anne Arundel County and relating
generally to Sunday sales in Anne Arundel County.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

House Bill No. 9—By Delegate Friedman:

A Bill entitled: An Act to add new Section 107A to Article 26 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1963 Supplement), title "Courts," subtitle
"Municipal Court of Baltimore City," to follow immediately after Section
107 thereof, creating an additional judgeship in The Municipal Court of
Baltimore City and providing for the manner of filling such judgeship.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

House Bill No. 10—By the Calvert County Delegation:

A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal Section 277 (q) of Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1963 Supplement), title "Revenue and
Taxes," subtitle "Recordation Tax," and to enact a new Section 277 (q)
in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section so repealed, prescribing
for Calvert County the rate of tax for recording certain instruments of
conveyance of real estate.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

House Bill No. 11—By Delegate Medairy:

A Bill entitled: An Act to repeal Sections 159-166A, inclusive, of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1963
Supplement), title "Elections," subtitle "House of Representatives," and
to enact in lieu thereof new Section 159 to stand in the place of the sections
so repealed, revising the several Congressional districts in this State for
the election of representatives in the Congress of the United States, pro-
viding that there shall be eight representatives from the State of Mary-
land and that they shall all be elected from the State at large.
