118                               LAWS OF MARYLAND                          [CH. 60

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 248A be and it is hereby added to Article 77 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Public Edu-
cation", sub-title "Miscellaneous", to follow immediately after Section
248 thereof, to read as follows:

248A.

The name of the institution referred to as St. Mary's Female
Seminary
ST. MARY'S SEMINARY JUNIOR COLLEGE shall here-
after be St. Mary's College of Maryland.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That wherever reference is
made in any general or local law to St. Mary's Female Seminary ST.
MARY'S SEMINARY JUNIOR COLLEGE it shall mean St. Mary's
College of Maryland.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1964.

CHAPTER 60
(Senate Bill 17)

AN ACT to add new Sections 8(g) and 21A to Article 15A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Budget and
Procurement," subtitles "Budgetary Administration" and "Budget
Bureau," to follow respectively after Sections 8(f) and 21 thereof,
amending the laws concerning the budget bill and budgetary ad-
ministration of this State, to provide that a budget amendment shall
not change certain language or substantive provisions in the bud-
get bill as enacted by the General Assembly and that in the pre-
paration and submission of the budget bill and of any supplements
thereto the Director of Budget and Procurement and the Governor
shall not change the language or provisions of this Code or of
other statutory law of this State.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 8(g) and 21A be and they are hereby added to
Article 15A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title
"Budget and Procurement," subtitles "Budgetary Administration"
and "Budget Bureau," to follow respectively after Sections 8(f) and
21 thereof, and to read as follows:

(g) A budget amendment shall not change any of the language or
substantive provisions (these terms specifically not including mone-
tary figures in the form of appropriations) in the Budget Bill as
enacted by the General Assembly.

In the preparation and submission of the Budget Bill and of any
supplements thereto, except as by law they may specifically be author-
