AN ACT to repeal Section 337 of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County,"
subtitle "Publication of Laws," and to repeal said subtitle, repeal-
ing an obsolete local law of Somerset County having to do with
the publication of local laws in the newspapers of Somerset County.

Whereas, Section 337 of the local laws of Somerset County pro-
vides that it is not necessary to publish the local laws relating to
Somerset County in all the newspapers of the County; and

Whereas, Those portions of Article 76 of the Annotated Code
which require the publication of certain local laws are expressly not
applicable in Somerset County; and

Whereas, Since there is no requirement for the publication of local
laws in Somerset County, the local law is unnecessary and should be
repealed; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 337 of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County," subtitle "Pub-
lication of Laws," and that said subtitle, be and they are hereby
repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal Section 338 of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County,"
subtitle "Register of Wills," and to repeal said subtitle, repealing
an obsolete and unnecessary local law of Somerset County concern-
ing the powers and duties of the register of wills of Somerset
County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 338 of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County," subtitle "Register
of Wills," and that said subtitle, be and they are hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
