CHAPTER 425
(House Bill 99)
AN ACT to repeal Section 18A of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County,"
subtitle "Baseball," and to repeal the said subtitle, as said section
and subtitle were enacted by Chapter 771 of the Acts of 1947,
repealing an obsolete local law of Somerset County concerning the
playing of baseball in Deal's Island Election District on Sundays.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 18A of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County," subtitle "Base-
ball," and that said subtitle, as said section and subtitle were enacted
by Chapter 771 of the Acts of 1947, be and they are hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1963.

(House Bill 100)
AN ACT to repeal Section 23 of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County,"
subtitle "Card Playing," and to repeal the said subtitle, repealing
an obsolete local law of Somerset County concerning the playing
of cards upon any road or public highway in Deal's Island Election
District.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 23 of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County," subtitle "Card
Playing," and that said subtitle be and they are hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal Section 24 of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County,"
subtitle "Camp Meetings," and to repeal the said subtitle, repealing
an obsolete local law of Somerset County concerning the holding
of camp meetings or bush meetings therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 24 of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
