Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 151 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1962 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Boards of
License Commissioners," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

151.

The respective boards of county commissioners shall ex officio con-
stitute the boards of license commissioners in Caroline, [Carroll,]
Cecil, Dorchester, Garrett, Howard, Kent and Worcester counties.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 412
(House Bill 805)

AN ACT to add new Section 20 (e-1) to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1962 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses,"
to follow immediately after Section 20 (e) thereof, permitting
Class C alcoholic beverage licenses to be issued to certain clubs in
Carroll County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 20 (e-1) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1962 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor
Licenses," to follow immediately after Section 20 (e) thereof, and to
read as follows:

20 (e-1). Carroll County.

(1)  In Carroll County the annual fee for such a license shall be
twelve hundred fifty dollars ($1,250.00) for any club which is a
local chapter of a nationally organized nonprofit fraternal or vet-
erans' organization and fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00) for any
other club.

(2)  Such a license may be issued in Carroll County to a club which
is equipped with a dining room which serves full course meals at
least twice daily and which has a regular seating capacity at tables
(not including seats at bars or counters) for fifty (50) or more per-
sons and which is operating in facilities that have an assessed real
property valuation of not less than twenty five thousand dollars
($25,000.00)
TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000.00). This
license for a club permits consumption on the premises only.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
