authorized and licensed to operate in any county in the State of
Maryland may transport passengers from such county to Friend-
ship International Airport, and may pick up passengers at Friend-
ship International Airport and transport them to such county on
its return trip.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 16A be and is hereby added to Article 1A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Aeronautics", to
follow immediately after Section 16 thereof, to be under the new
sub-title "Airport Taxicab Service", and to read as follows:
ARTICLE 19—AERONAUTICS
AIRPORT TAXICAB SERVICE
16A.
Any public local law or other law to the contrary notwithstanding,
the operator of any taxicab duly authorized and licensed to operate
in a County or municipality in the State of Maryland, without being
required to obtain an additional permit or license from any other
County or political subdivision:
(a) May transport passengers to Friendship International Air-
port from such County or municipality in Maryland in which it is
duly authorized and licensed to operate, and
(b) After transporting a passenger to Friendship International
Airport from such County or municipality in which it is duly au-
thorized and licensed to operate may pick up passengers at Friend-
ship International Airport and transport them to such County or
municipality on its return trip.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 184 (a)
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment), title "Licenses", sub-title "Public Passenger and Freight
Motor Vehicles", to establish a TWO new classifications of public
passenger motor vehicle, and to repeal Section 184 (b) of said
Article 56 repealing the section of the Code which provides for a
seat tax on public passenger motor vehicles operated within cer-
tain areas and zones within the State of Maryland.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 184 (a) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1962 Supplement), title "Licenses", sub-title "Public Passenger
and Freight Motor Vehicles", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
