20.

(f-1) In Charles County such a license may be issued either to a
bona fide nonprofit organization or to a club composed solely of
members who served in the armed forces of the United States, in
any war in which the United States has engaged, which organization
or club operates solely for the use of its own members and their
guests when accompanied by such members, provided such club
or organization meets in a clubhouse that is used for no other pur-
pose, the fee for such license shall be two hundred and fifty dollars
($250.00).

(n) Such licenses shall only be issued in the City of Baltimore, in
Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Cecil, Charles, Frederick,
Garrett, Harford, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's,
Queen Anne's, Talbot, Washington, Wicomico and Worcester counties,
in the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach in Calvert
County and in Cambridge election district No. 7 and Linkwood
election district No. 14 in Dorchester County.

In Charles County, notwithstanding any other provisions of this
sub-title, it shall be unlawful for any licensee or any agent, servant
or employee of said licensee under this sub-title to sell liquors on
the Sabbath Day, commonly called Sunday, nor shall any liquors be
sold by any licensee or any agent, servant or employee of said licensee
between the hours of 12 midnight and 6 o'clock A.M. But this section
shall not prevent [the] any sale tinder a Class C license or any other
sale of any wine or beer containing less than 20% alcohol by volume
on any day including Sunday, or at any time except between the
hours of 12 midnight and 6 o'clock A.M. The barroom where alcoholic
beverages are sold or displayed shall be closed at midnight, and all
bottles and containers used in dispensing alcoholic beverages must
be removed from the tables on or before 1:00 A.M. Any person
violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon trial and conviction shall be subjected
to a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than two
hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00), or may be confined in the county
jail or in the house of correction for not less than sixty days, or
both, in the discretion of the court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(Senate Bill 466)

AN ACT to add a new section to be known as Section 23K to the
Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1959 Edition,
being Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Wicomico County", sub-title "County Commissioners", and
to follow immediately after Section 23J of said Article as enacted
by Chapter 293 of the Acts of 1961, authorizing the County Com-
missioners of Wicomico County to enter into contracts with
