(d) It is unlawful for any person to practice, veterinary medicine
unless his license and annual registration are displayed in his regu-
larly established office or place of practice.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That if any provision of this
Act or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or any
other application of this Act which can be given effect without the
invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
Act are hereby declared to be severable.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 244
(Senate Bill 264)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 76(g) of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement),
title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Tax Sales", providing that a
sum not in excess of seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) shall be
allowed for the service of posting premises to be sold for nonpay-
ment of taxes in Baltimore City.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 76(g) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1962 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Tax Sales",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

76.

(g) Expenses of sales.—The following expenses relating to the
sale shall be allowed, all of which shall be liens on the property to be
sold:

(i) The expense of publication of all notices.

(ii) The cost of the county or city surveyor's description and plat,
if necessary.

(iii) A fee to the attorney representing the county treasurer for
services, not exceeding fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each property;
except that in Baltimore City or any county which has a paid full-
time solicitor, counsel or attorney, this fee shall be collected and paid
into the general funds of the city or county.

(iv) The auctioneer's fee, which in no case shall exceed ten dollars
($10.00) for any day when one, two or three properties are sold;
and for any day when four or more properties are sold the fee shall
be three dollars ($3.00) for each property sold.

(v) In Baltimore City, Baltimore and Cecil counties, where pro-
