County, on the second Monday of July and the first Monday of
February; for St. Mary's County, on the first Monday of June and
December; for Prince George's County, on the third Monday of Jan-
uary and June, and for Charles County, on the third Monday of
February and July in each year.]

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 19
(Senate Bill 47)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 75, 76,
and 82 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", Section 82 thereof having been amended by Chapter
78 of the Acts of 1947; and to repeal Sections 74, 77, 78, 79, 80 and
81 of said Article and sub-title, Section 81 thereof having been
amended by Chapter 296 of the Acts of 1933, amending the local
jaws of Calvert County with respect to the County Commissioners
in order to remove therefrom certain obsolete, incorrect and un-
necessary provisions concerning the election, powers, duties, and
employees of said Board of County Commissioners.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 75, 76, and 82 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", Section 82 thereof having been amended by
Chapter 78 of the Acts of 1947, be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments; and that Sections 74, 77, 78, 79, 80,
and 81 of said Article and sub-title, Section 81 thereof having been
amended by Chapter 296 of the Acts of 1933, be and they are hereby
repealed; and all to read as follows:

[74. The three County Commissioners for Calvert County who
were elected on the Tuesday next after the first Monday of November,
in the year nineteen hundred and thirteen, shall hold their office for
the term of two years from the date of said election, or until their
successors are duly elected and qualified.]

75. At the general election to be held in said county on the
Tuesday next after the first Monday of November, in the year nine-
teen hundred and [fifteen] sixty-two, there shall be elected three
County Commissioners, who shall be selected, respectively, one from
the First Election District, one from the Second Election District
and one from the Third Election District of said county, [whose
terms of office shall be, respectively, as follows: The one elected from
the First Election District shall hold office for the term of six years
from the date of his election; the one from the Second Election Dis-
trict shall hold office for the term of four years from the date of his
election, and the one from the Third Election District of said county
