County," subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately
after Section 212 thereof, and to read as follows:
212A.
The County Commissioners of Harford County are authorized to
pay annually such amount as they deem appropriate to the United
Service Organization in Harford County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 199
(House Bill 461)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 184A (a)
of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Queen Anne's County," subtitle "County Com-
missioners," which section was last amended by Chapter 143 of
the Acts of 1961, to increase the maximum amount of money which
may be borrowed for certain county purposes by the County Com-
missioners of Queen Anne's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 184A (a) of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County,"
subtitle "County Commissioners," which section was last amended
by Chapter 143 of the Acts of 1961, be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
184A.
(a) The County Commissioners shall have, and is hereby given,
express power and authority to borrow from time to time, if and as
needed, such sum or sums of money, not to exceed in the aggregate
at any time or times the sum of [four hundred thousand dollars
($400,000)] five hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($550,000) SIX
HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($600,000) for the pur-
pose of paying the general operating expenses or small capital
improvements of the County or any of its departments, and to pledge
the faith and credit of the County therefor, subject only to the pro-
visions of this section.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
