which is conducted for and on behalf of any nonprofit, charitable,
or eleemosynary agency or organization; or to any person who is
going from door-to-door in the sale of farm produce or seafood of
any kind which he has produced or taken within the limits of Queen
Anne's County; or to any person who is selling or delivering news-
papers.

(d) Any person who violates any provision of this section is guilty
of a misdemeanor, and shall be subject upon conviction thereof to a
fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or to imprisonment
for not to exceed six (6) months, or both for each violation.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 139
(House Bill 511)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9(32) of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement),
title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be Taxed and
Where," to permit local taxation in Queen Anne's County of house
trailers.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 9 (32) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1962 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall
Be Taxed and Where," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

9.

(32) Motor vehicles, Classes A to J, inclusive. Nothing herein shall
be construed to exempt house trailers used primarily for human habi-
tation from the assessment of the local property tax in Calvert,
Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Har-
ford, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's
and Worcester counties notwithstanding any fees paid to the Depart-
ment of Motor Vehicles for the privilege of the use of the highway
by such house trailers.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
