And no such justice shall collect any fine or costs in any case
involving a violation of the motor vehicle laws of this State until
he has completed the entries pertaining to such case in his docket
kept for the making of his record, and all such dockets shall be
preserved and transmitted to the clerks of the court as required
by Article 52 of the Code, all such warrants and dockets at all times
to be subject to inspection upon demand by any person named
therein and by all State officials or their duly authorized
representatives.

Every trial magistrate shall promptly deposit in a bank or banks
as specified by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, in an account
or accounts opened in his official capacity, all fines, forfeitures,
penalties and costs imposed and collected by him in cases involving
violations of the motor vehicle laws. All monies so deposited shall
be subjected only to the order of such trial magistrate or his law-
fully constituted successor in office for the purpose of remitting
to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles the monies so collected and
deposited. The trial magistrates shall promptly report and remit
to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, in accordance with the
motor vehicle laws, all fines, forfeitures, penalties and costs imposed
and collected by them in cases of violations of said law. The Com-
missioner of Motor Vehicles shall keep separate accounts for each
of the trial magistrates in the State. Not later than the fifteenth
day of each month, the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall remit
to the county commissioners of each county the sum of [three dollars
($3.00)] four dollars ($4.00) for every case involving a charge of
violation of the motor vehicle law in said county during the pre-
ceding month, for which accounting or due report has been made
by said magistrates, said sums so remitted by the Commissioner
of Motor Vehicles to be applied by the county to the payment of the
salaries and other expenses specified in this sub-title.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to add new Section 187D to Article 66½ of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles",
sub-title "Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways", to follow im-
mediately after Section 187C thereof, to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Cecil County to designate truck routes on county
roads, relating to the designation of such routes and to provide
penalties for violations.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 187D be and it is hereby added to Article 66½ of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement), title "Motor
