ENTIRE COUNTY AS MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEM-
BLY ARE OR MAY BE ELECTED, AND THEY SHALL LIKE-
WISE BE NOMINATED AS MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL AS-
SEMBLY ARE OR MAY BE NOMINATED UNDER PROVISIONS
OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(House Bill 601)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8-1 SEC-
TIONS 8-1 AND 8-4 of the Anne Arundel County Code (1957
Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County," subtitle
"Electrical Installments INSTALLATIONS," as last amended EN-
ACTED by Chapter 26 of the Acts of 1962 (First Special Session),
increasing the membership of the Board of Electrical Examiners
IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY; PROVIDING THAT SUCH
APPOINTMENT SHALL BE MADE WITH THE ADVICE AND
CONSENT OF THE SENATE AND THAT AT LEAST TWO
MEMBERS SHALL BE SELECTED FROM A LIST APPROVED
BY THE MASTER ELECTRICIAN'S ASSOCIATION OF ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY AND CHANGING THE SALARIES OF
MEMBERS OF THE BOARD.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 8-1 SECTIONS 8-1 AND 8-4 of the Anne Arundel
County Code (1957 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel Coun-
ty," subtitle "Electrical Installments INSTALLATIONS," as last
amended ENACTED by Chapter 26 of the Acts of 1962 (First Special
Session), be and it is THEY ARE hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

8-1.

The Governor, BY AND WITH THE ADVICE AND CONSENT
OF THE SENATE, shall [within thirty days after June 1, 1962] ap-
point a board to be known as the Board of Electrical Examiners and
Supervisors for Anne Arundel County, and the members shall [be
three master electricians licensed in and resident of Anne Arundel
County, one of whom shall be a resident of the City of Annapolis]
include five persons, one of whom shall be A RESIDENT of the City
of Annapolis, and all five of whom shall be master electricians licensed
in and resident of Anne Arundel County-
AT LEAST TWO OF
WHOM SHALL BE SELECTED FROM A LIST OF FOUR PER-
SONS SUGGESTED BY THE MASTER ELECTRICIAN'S ASSO-
CIATION OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, INC. WHICH LIST
SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE GOVERNOR BY JUNE 15 OF
EACH YEAR IN WHICH APPOINTMENTS ARE TO BE MADE.
