TRICTS WERE DEFINED AND CONSTITUTED ON JANUARY
1,1963.

(II)    COMMISSIONER DISTRICT NUMBER TWO SHALL EN-
COMPASS ALL THE AREA INCLUDED IN ELECTION DIS-
TRICT NUMBER SIX TOGETHER WITH THE FIRST PRECINCT
OF THE ELECTION DISTRICT NUMBER TWO AS THAT ELEC-
TION DISTRICT AND PRECINCT WERE DEFINED AND CON-
STITUTED ON JANUARY 1,1963.

(III)    COMMISSIONER DISTRICT NUMBER THREE SHALL
ENCOMPASS ALL THE AREA INCLUDED IN ELECTION DIS-
TRICT NUMBER THREE AS THAT ELECTION DISTRICT WAS
DEFINED AND CONSTITUTED ON JANUARY 1, 1963.

(IV)     COMMISSIONER DISTRICT NUMBER FOUR SHALL
ENCOMPASS ALL THE AREA INCLUDED IN ELECTION DIS-
TRICT NUMBER FOUR TOGETHER WITH THE SECOND PRE-
CINCT OF THE SECOND ELECTION DISTRICT NUMBER TWO
AS THAT ELECTION DISTRICT AND PRECINCT WERE DE-
FINED AND CONSTITUTED ON JANUARY 1,1963.

(V)    COMMISSIONER DISTRICT NUMBER FIVE SHALL EN-
COMPASS ALL THE AREA INCLUDED WITHIN ELECTION
DISTRICT NUMBER FIVE AS THAT ELECTION DISTRICT WAS
DEFINED AND CONSTITUTED ON JANUARY 1, 1963.

THE DESIGNATION OF THESE SEVERAL COMMISSIONER
DISTRICTS IS EFFECTIVE ONLY AS TO THE ELECTION RESI-
DENCE OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AND DOES NOT AF-
FECT THE SEVERAL ELECTION DISTRICTS DESCRIBED AND
REFERRED TO ELSEWHERE IN THIS CODE OR IN ANY
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE COUNTY OR OF ONE OF
ITS DEPARTMENTS OR AGENCIES.

At the primary elections held in Anne Arundel County at which
candidates are to be selected for the positions of County Commis-
sioners, the voters of each of the [eight] four FIVE commissioner dis
-
tricts of said county shall determine for themselves who shall be their
candidate to be voted for at the general election, and therefore, the

names of the persons who file their names for the position of County
Commissioner, in accordance with the General Primary Election Law,
shall be placed by the Supervisor of Elections in said County, only

upon the ballots in the election districts comprising the commissioner
district
where the candidate resides, and the candidate who receives

the greatest number of votes in the district where he resides at the

primary election, shall be certified to by the Supervisors of Elections
as the nominee of the political party to which he belongs, and the

name of said nominee shall be placed on the official ballot to be used
in the general election. The names of candidates for the position of

President of the Board of County Commissioners shall be placed on

the ballots throughout the county and be voted for by the voters of

the entire county in both the primary and general elections.

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL BE ELECTED ON
THE GENERAL TICKET BY THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE
