the rules and regulations of the Commission and all provisions of law-
relating to said district, including taxes and other sums or charges
levied by said Commission in other parts of said district.; PRO-
VIDED, HOWEVER, THAT SHOULD ANY PUMPING STATION
BE ERECTED, CONSTRUCTED, OR INSTALLED TO SERVICE
THE AFOREMENTIONED TRACT OR TRACTS THE SAME
SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED, ERECTED, OR INSTALLED AT
THE SOLE COST OF THE DEVELOPERS OR OWNERS OF SAID
TRACT OR TRACTS AND NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF THE
COMMISSION OR OF ANY OTHER GOVERNMENTAL AU-
THORITY OR AGENCY.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 835
(House Bill 837)

AN ACT to add new subsection (e) to Section 82 of Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Elections," sub-
title "Party Governing Bodies," to follow immediately after Section
82 (d) thereof, providing that members of any central committee
for Anne Arundel County may not hold any remunerative public
office or position which is filled by appointment upon recommenda-
tion of said central committee.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new subsection (e) be and it is hereby added to Section 82 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title
"Elections," subtitle "Party Governing Bodies," to follow immedi-
ately after Section 82 (d) thereof, to read as follows:

82.

(e) No member of any central committee for Anne Arundel Coun-
ty may hold any office or position for which remuneration is pro-
vided from public funds and which is filled by appointment upon rec-
ommendation of the central committee of which he is a member.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

June 1, 1963.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS ACT
IS HEREBY DECLARED TO BE AN EMERGENCY MEASURE
FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESERVATION OF THE PUBLIC
HEALTH AND SAFETY, AND HAVING BEEN PASSED BY A
YEA AND NAY VOTE SUPPORTED BY THREE-FIFTHS OF
THE MEMBERS ELECTED TO EACH OF THE TWO HOUSES
OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, THE SAME SHALL TAKE
EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF ITS PASSAGE.
