1850                           LAWS OF MARYLAND                      [CH. 834

the General Assembly of 1918. All that area in Montgomery County
described as follows:

All that area in the 4th election district within the following de-
scribed boundaries: Beginning for the same at a point on the westerly

side of the Rockville Pike (Route #355) the northeast corner of the

lands of the Atlantic Seaboard Corporation and the southeast corner
SCRIBED BOUNDARIES: BEGINNING FOR THE SAME AT A
POINT ON THE EXISTING BOUNDARY OF THE WASHING-
TON SUBURBAN SANITARY DISTRICT, SAID POINT BEING
ON THE EIGHTH OR NORTH 75° 10' EAST, 720.00 FOOT LINE
OF A DEED FROM THOMAS ANDERSON, ET AL., TO THE AT-
LANTIC SEABOARD CORPORATION, DATED AUGUST 4, 1948
AND RECORDED AMONG THE LAND RECORDS OF MONT-
GOMERY COUNTY, MARYLAND, IN LIBER 1174 AT FOLIO 255,
AND WEST OF, AT RIGHT ANGLES TO, AND 300 FEET DIS-
TANT FROM THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF THE ROCK-
VILLE-FREDERICK ROAD, AND BEING ON THE SOUTH LINE
of the Polinger Tract formerly the Thomas M. Anderson Tract thence
along the dividing line between said tracts in a westerly and southerly
direction to intersect the line between the Polinger and Montgomery
Junior College lands thence along said dividing line in a westerly and
southerly direction to intersect the line between the Polinger Tract
and the northerly line of Woodley Gardens and the northerly line of
the city limits of the City of Rockville thence along the dividing line
between the city limits and the lines of the Polinger Tract in a
westerly and northerly direction to the dividing line between the
lands of Jerome Scheffres and the Polinger Tract thence along said
dividing line and leaving the city limit line in a AN easterly and north-
erly direction to intersect the line of the land of W. Lawson King,
Jerome Scheffres, and the Polinger Tract thence on the dividing line
between said tracts in a northerly direction to point in Fields Road
thence along the line of Fields Road in a westerly direction to intersect
the southerly line of the lands of W. Lawson King and Julian A. Ray
and the limit lines of the City of Rockville thence along said dividing
line between said parties and J. E. Troth in a AN easterly direction to
the dividing line between the lines of King and Zetts Subdivision
thence along the westerly and southerly lines of said subdivision and
the King line to a point five hundred feet southwesterly from the west-
erly side of the Rockville Pike said line being the present line of the

Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission thence along said line in
a southerly direction five hundred feet from said Pike to a point the
prolongation of the dividing line between the properties of Virginia

K. Casey and William B. Mobley thence along said line in a easterly

direction to the Rockville Pike (Route #355) thence along the westerly
side of the Rockville Pike to the place of beginning.
IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE
OF THE ZETTS SUBDIVISION TO INTERSECT THE EXIST-
ING BOUNDARY OF THE WASHINGTON SUBURBAN SANI-
ARY DISTRICT, THENCE IN A GENERALLY SOUTHEASTER-
LY DIRECTION WITH AND ALONG THE EXISTING BOUND-
ARY OF THE WASHINGTON SUBURBAN SANITARY DIS-
TRICT TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the jurisdiction of the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is hereby extended to
include the area above described and said area shall be subject to all
