(Senate Bill 221)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 258 (k) of
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement),
title "Licenses", sub-title "Home Improvement Law", correcting an
error in the law relating to the refusal, suspension, or revocation of
licenses of home improvement companies.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 258 (k) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1962 Supplement), title "Licenses", sub-title "Home Improvement
Law", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
258.
(k) Willful failure to notify the Commission of any change of con-
trol in ownership, management or business name or location, or of
appointment of salesman as required by Sections 255 and [258] 257;
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(Senate Bill 236)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 81A (b)
of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title "County Commis-
sioners", as said section was enacted by Chapter 658 of the Acts
of 1961, amending the law concerning the procedure of the County
Commissioners of Calvert County to make certain purchases and
contracts in order to provide that under certain circumstances
these procedures need not be followed.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 81A (b) of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", as said section was enacted by Chapter
658 of the Acts of 1961, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

(b) The County Commissioners shall give public notice prior to
making any purchase with county funds or contracting for the per-
