sufficient for the purposes defined in Section 1 hereof. HOWEVER,
IN THE EVENT THAT THE PROPERTIES PRESENTLY OCCU-
PIED BY THE YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION
MUST BE CONDEMNED, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS SHALL, BEFORE CONDEMNING SAID PROPERTY,
FIRST PROVIDE SAID ASSOCIATION WITH QUARTERS AND
FACILITIES COMPARABLE TO THE ONES THEY NOW
OCCUPY.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That the proceedings for the
acquisition by condemnation of the property and rights herein de-
scribed and the rights of all parties interested or affected thereby
shall be regulated by and be in accordance with the provisions of
Article 33A of the Annotated Code of Maryland and any and all
amendments thereto.

Sec. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 793
(House Bill 478)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 187A of
Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment) , title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Operation of Vehicles Upon
Highways," providing authority for Anne Arundel County to reg-
ulate truck traffic within the county AND PROVIDING FOR THE
RIGHT OF APPEAL FROM THE ACTION OF THE COUNTY IN
REGULATING TRUCK TRAFFIC THEREIN.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 187A of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1962 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Operation
of Vehicles Upon Highways," be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:

187A.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this article, the board of
county commissioners of Anne Arundel, Prince George's County and
of Howard County are authorized and empowered to regulate thru
truck traffic and in such regulation to prohibit trucks from using
any road, street, lane or alley within Anne Arundel County, Prince
George's County and within Howard County, respectively, which is
not within the corporate limits of any incorporated city, town or
village and which has not been designated or maintained as a part of
the State or federal highway system or an extension thereof. The
board of county commissioners of Anne Arundel County, Prince
George's County and of Howard County also are authorized and em-
powered to provide for the payment of fines for a conviction for vio-
lating any such regulation made by it concerning thru truck traffic;
any and all fines collected pursuant to the provisions of this section
