145D. District No. 15East Lonaconing. Beginning at the Pine
Hill mine dump about midway between Lonaconing and Midland on
the C. & P. R. R., and running thence with the line of the gravity
plane thereof

1.    South 25 degrees east about 1/4 of a mile to the head of the
plane, then with a straight line

2.    South 9 degrees east 4/5 of a mile to the Ritchie Road and
with it

3.    Easterly 1 mile to the Bog Ore Road, then

.4. South 49½ degrees east 1¼ miles to the second low gap south
of Wolf Rock on Dan's Mountain on a line of District No. 7, then
with said district and with the crest of Dan's Mountain

5.    Southwesterly 2-9/10 miles to the end of the seventh line of
District No. 9, Barton, it being the second low gap northeast of the
Fairview Rock, then with the line of District No. 9

6.    Northwesterly ½ mile to the road at the head of the South
fork of the Jackson Run, then with said road down Jackson Run

7.    Northwesterly 1 mile to the American Coal Company's land,
then leaving the lines of District No. 9 and running with the Ameri-
can Coal Company's land, the following general courses:

8.    Northeasterly 5/10 of a mile

9.    Northwesterly about 1 mile or until it crosses the branch of
the Georges Creek and Cumberland railroad which skirts Jackson
Hill south of Jackson Run, then with said railroad

10.    Westerly about of a mile to a line drawn southeast from
John Ferran's house in New Detmold on the road between Lonacon-
ing and Pekin, then reversing said line

11.    Northwest 1/6 of a mile to the center of Georges Creek, then
up the creek

12.    Northeasterly 2 miles to a point opposite Pine Hill mine
dump, then with a straight line

13.    Southeast 150 feet to the beginning.

145E. District No. 16North Branch. Beginning on the Poto-
mac River at the mouth of Evitts Creek, it being the end of the
fourth line of District No. 4, Canal
Cumberland, thence reversing
said fourth line and running up said creek
                 

1.    Northerly 1½ miles to the Williams Road, and with it

2.    Easterly 5½ miles passing through Twiggtown to Twigg's
Lane, thence with Twigg's Lane

3.    Southerly 5½ miles binding on the westerly line of District
No. 2: Oldtown, to the Oldtown Road, and with it and still with
District No. 2

4. Southeasterly 2-1/10 miles to the Western Maryland Railroad,
then with a straight line

5. South of a mile to the Potomac River, then up said river
