(House Bill 1005)

AN ACT to add new Section 15A to Article 78 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Public Service Commis-
sion Law," subtitle "Public Service Commission," subheading
"People's Counsel," to follow immediately after Section 15 thereof,
to provide for appointment by the People's Counsel to the Public
Service Commission of an auditor, and relating to the compensation
and duties of the auditor.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 15A be and it is hereby added to Article 78 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Public Service
Commission Law," subtitle "Public Service Commission," subheading
"People's Counsel," to follow immediately after Section 15 thereof,
and to read as follows:

15A.

The people's counsel is authorized to appoint an auditor to serve
at the pleasure of the people's counsel, who shall receive the com-
pensation and/or expenses provided in the annual State Budget. The
auditor shall assist the people's counsel in the performance of the
duties of the people's counsel under this article.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to add a new Section 464E to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Prince George's County (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's
County," subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately
after Section 464D thereof, as such section was enacted by Chapter
735 of the Acts of 1959 and Chapter 775 of 1959 as last amended
by Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1962, Special Session, under the same
title and subtitle directing the County Commissioners to establish
prevailing wage rates, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, under
which all employees of contractors doing public work shall be paid.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 464E be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County, (1953 Edition, being
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Prince George's County," subtitle "County Commissioners," to fol-
low immediately after Section 464D thereof, as such section was en-
acted by Chapter 735 of the Acts of 1959 and Chapter 775 of 1959
as last amended by Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1962, Special Session,
under the same title and subtitle and to read as follows:
