the following for the use of the Sheriff's office for law enforcement
at an annual cost not to exceed $10,000.00.
(i) Not more than three automobiles, plus necessary operating
expenses, including, but not limited to, gasoline, oil, insurance and
repairs ;
(ii) Radio equipment;
(iii) Office supplies and equipment.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(House Bill 525)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 479 of
Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, (1930
Edition), title "Caroline County," subtitle "Roads," as enacted by
Chapter 700 of the Acts of 1955, providing compensation for
traveling and other expenses for the members of the County Roads
Board of Caroline County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 479 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County," subtitle "Roads,"
as enacted by Chapter 700 of the Acts of 1955, be and it is hereby
repealed, and re-enacted with amendments, to read as follows:
479.
The members of the County Roads Board for Caroline County
shall each receive, in addition to their compensation as County
Commissioners, compensation from the County at the rate of Twenty-
five Dollars ($25.00) a day as members of said County Roads Board,
payable only upon attendance in performing said duties as members
of said Board but not otherwise; provided, however, that no member
of the County Roads Board shall receive an amount in excess of
$600.00 per annum for serving on said board. Said County Roads
Board shall meet on the first Tuesday of each month following the
first meeting in each month of the County Commissioners of Caroline
County, and as often thereafter as said County Roads Board shall
deem it necessary for the proper performance of its duties.
In addition to the per diem compensation, each member of the
County Roads Board shall receive the sum of six hundred dollars
($600.00) per annum for traveling and other expenses incurred in
performing their duties on the Board.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
