being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Cecil County," subtitle "County Commissioners," relating
to the compensation of the County Commissioners of Cecil County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 106 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil County
(1961 Edition), being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Cecil County," subtitle "County Commissioners,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

106.

The County Commissioners of Cecil County [as now constituted
and holding office or hereafter elected or appointed] shall receive
an annual salary of Thirty-five Hundred Dollars in lieu of all other
compensation and shall be allowed [Seven Cents for each mile actually
traveled] Fifteen Hundred Dollars to cover all expenses incurred in
the performance of their duties as county commissioners [within
the county, not to exceed $700.00 per year], and shall be required to
devote all of their time to the duties of said office. Beginning with
the terms of office commencing after the 1966 general election,
and thereafter, the County Commissioners shall receive a salary of
Sixty-five Hundred Dollars per year in lieu of any other compen-
sation or expense allowance of any kind.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 113 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County (1959 Edition), being
Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Kent County," subtitle "County Commissioners," pro-
viding certain changes in the expense allowances of County Com-
missioners of Kent County (effective in 1963) and increasing their
compensation (effective in 1966).

(1959 Edition), being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent County," subtitle "County
